About the role

The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children and supporting their cognitive, physical, and emotional development. They must be trustworthy, honest, and responsible, attentive to the child's safety and well-being, engaging, energetic, playful, and nurturing. The role requires an excellent communicator and team player who is punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Engaging the child in age-appropriate activities
• Diaper changes, dressing the child, and supporting overall healthy hygiene
• Taking the child to activities and playdates
• Maintain the child’s sleeping and eating schedules
• Managing the child’s laundry, folding and putting away his clothes
• Taking the child to the building’s pool and play area
• Reading, playing, and other indoor and outdoor activities
• Maintaining a communication log (text message group) with the parents
• Restocking child-related items such as diapers and wipes
• Maintaining the child’s room and the shared spaces in the home clean and tidy

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience with infants and toddlers
• Likely authorized to work in the U.S.
• 2-3 excellent references from relevant positions
• Confident swimmer
• Up to date with COVID and flu vaccinations
• CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to start)
• Comfortable with dogs – the family has a friendly shepherd mix
• Flexibility for occasional travel, date nights, and later evenings as needed

Pay

$35–$40 per hour gross, with overtime paid after 40 hours/week

Schedule

Monday through Friday from 8:30am – 6:00 pm with some flexibility needed. Guaranteed 47.5 hours per week.
