FileMaker Tech Lead

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of application developers to ensure KPI’s are being met and deliverables meet deadlines.
• Delegate tasks to team members and other application developers.
• Nurture and provide professional development opportunities for team members.
• Regularly collaborate with the rest of the management team in order to ensure strategic success.
• Lead delegation and customer meetings when needed.
• Run weekly and as-needed touch points with individual team members.
• Review fellow team member’s code and other work to ensure standards are met and/or exceeded.
• Work closely with the team project manager and business developers to design, implement, and maintain projects.
• Create/write company materials including articles, informational videos, and other instructive mediums.
• Work with customers to design features, figure estimates, and ultimately present proposals.
• Prepare and manage recurring company events, such as quarterly Innovation Showcases.
• Write and test code/scripts.
• Extend a helping hand to other teams as needed.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of FileMaker experience.
• A minimum of 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• The ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Strong understanding of relational databases.
• A strong creative and positive attitude.
• Familiarity with EOS methodology is a plus.
• Must reside in or plan to relocate to one of the following states: Indiana, Ohio, New York, Colorado, or Texas.
