Roles And Responsibilities
- Teach assigned classes using the Great Hearts curriculum and materials, preparing thoughtful lessons and cultivating an orderly, joyful classroom that supports the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty
- Provide appropriate academic support to students, monitor progress, and partner with school leadership to address academic or behavioral needs in a timely manner
- Uphold and model the culture, policies, and expectations of Great Hearts, including dress code, conduct, and safety procedures, contributing to a respectful and orderly school environment
- Communicate clearly and professionally with families, initiating conferences as needed and fostering strong home-school partnerships
- Participate fully in the life of the academy through faculty collaboration, school events, assigned duties, and a shared commitment to ongoing professional growth and excellence in teaching
Required/Preferred Education
- Bachelor's or higher degree is required for a lead teaching role
- Certification is not required for general education
- All majors are welcome
