About the role
Provide veterinary services as well as student support and teaching for field based Accessible Veterinary Care projects, including KLOHC, Covelo Clinic and the new clinic at PetSmart.
Responsibilities
- 80% - Clinical Veterinarian
- 20% - Program Support
Qualifications
- License to practice veterinary medicine in California (or ability to get one within 90 days).
- Valid California driver's license, with a driving record that meets local policies/procedures, and enrollment in the California Employer Pull Notice Program.
- M.V.M / V.M.D degree from an accredited school of veterinary medicine.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience.
- Understanding of animal welfare and accessible veterinary care.
- Knowledge of regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to drive a trailer.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10 years clinical experience.
- Experience working in community medicine and with students.
- Training in HQHVSN (High-Quality, High-Volume Spay/Neuter).
Pay
$114,700.00 - $236,700.00 Annual
