Job Description

We offer a merit-based work-from-home program based on job responsibilities. After initial training in-person, this specific role could have the flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Comprehend knowledge of our insurance products (coverages, rules, and rating)
  • Book transfer procedures
  • Regular travel throughout the assigned territory to call on agents to write and inspect business (as needed)
  • Prepare proposals
  • Coincide policy insurance through our branch underwriting office
  • Aid agents as needed with book transfer business
  • Make group presentations on Company products and services
  • Aid with other duties in the department or elsewhere on request

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Appropriate underwriting experience is preferred
  • Above average communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to organize data, multi-task and make decisions independently
  • An interest in developing product knowledge through participation in approved educational programs
