About the role
The Field Training Specialist conducts both on-site and virtual training for local companies. They will work closely with Local Companies, Area Leaders, and Training Services to ensure desired performance outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Train employees on WISE, WinZone and Winreports functions.
- Possess knowledge to train new president/managers and employees on various topics including WISE functions, reports, e.g. A Day's Work in a Day (ADWIAD).
- Work with local company in organization and/or setup of WISE data.
- Conduct various follow-up training activities with recently visited local company.
- Participate in in-person training events such as Annual Meetings, National Training, Regional Training, and MDTP sessions.
- Record training help videos and provide supporting help documentation.
- Create, maintain, and follow up help tickets for end users until their issue is resolved.
- Routinely work with Programming, Quality Assurance, and Support teams on various projects.
- Provide conceptual and strategic guidance to local companies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years working in the wholesale distribution industry.
- Ability to provide attention to detail, thoroughness, and ownership in all duties.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
- Able to work in a fast paced/constantly changing work environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Desired Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree, or related experience.
- 3+ years of experience using the WISE ERP system.
Physical requirements
- Sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.
- Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
- Ability to work a non-traditional schedule.
- Ability to work remotely and travel up to 70% of the time.
