Field Training Audiologist - Boston

About the role

The Field Training Audiologist contributes to sales and profitability by providing product and software training designed to increase customer knowledge, skills and familiarity with the ReSound product lines. This position also functions to provide audiological support, which includes hearing aid fitting and troubleshooting assistance, to influence buying behavior change from our customers. Additionally, this position includes providing audiology, technical and product training to ReSound employees.

Responsibilities

• Execute high quality and consistent customer training using Adult Learning Principles to elicit product buying behavior change
• Support sales of ReSound products within the US by working closely and cohesively with assigned sales teams
• Create customer training needs assessments and training plans to provide appropriate training solutions for accounts with measurable outcomes
• Regularly communicate pertinent account information to territory sales team members
• Aid sales teams and overall sales support at national level conventions
• Play key role in promotion and demonstration of products during launch trainings
• Provide consultative resources which will help develop the business growth of the customer to meet ReSound’s business needs
• Schedule travel independently and within corporate guidelines that maximize the effectiveness and cost efficiencies while maintaining a full zoned week schedule
• Maintain appropriate administrative records, including maintaining expenses within published corporate guidelines, keeping your work calendar and zonal planning up to date, and attending all team and management calls
• Interact with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, Technical Support and Research & Development to ensure quality customer experiences
• Continuously develop training content through provided materials as well as creation of new materials
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Required Education: AuD or PhD in Audiology. Master’s Degree in Audiology considered
• Experience: Clinical experience fitting patients with amplification in a variety of audiological environments
• Travel: Extensive travel by air, auto and train. Ability to travel 75% of the time

• Confident in public speaking and workshop facilitations
