Field Technician- Part Time
About the role
On-Site Health & Safety is seeking Health & Safety Incident Response Technicians (Field Technicians) to respond to various worksites, including construction and refineries, ensuring health and safety compliance. Responsibilities include providing first aid, completing incident reports, performing health screenings, and drawing blood when certified.
This dynamic role offers diverse challenges and opportunities for growth outside traditional clinical settings. Field Technicians operate a company vehicle, eliminate commutes by clocking in and out from home, and make a tangible impact in keeping America working.
Schedule
- Alternative work week: 2-3 days per week, 10-hour shifts
- Part-time and flexible (PRN) options available
- On-call rotation required, including some overnight and weekend shifts
Pay
- $21-$23/hour
- On-call stipend: $45/night and $150/weekend

Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Must be insurable by our motor vehicle insurance policy:
- Minimum 3 years driving history or documented defensive driving training
- No severe driving record "hits" (e.g., excessive moving violations, DUIs, reckless driving)
- Pass a criminal background check (as permitted by law)
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain compliance with drug testing policy requirements
- Comfortable standing, walking, sitting, and climbing stairs for extended periods
- Willingness to operate a motor vehicle for extended periods and long distances
- Excellent communication skills, including public speaking and clear articulation of instructions
Qualifications
We seek dedicated professionals with education or experience in one of the following:
- EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic
- Military Medic or equivalent
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
With additional in-house training, we also consider candidates with experience as:
- Emergency Medical Responder
- X-Ray Technician
- Phlebotomist
- Medical Assistant
- Certified Nursing Assistant
Additional Notes
- Due to the nature of services, employees may have access to federally funded or owned job sites, subjecting them to federally compliant drug testing (pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, return-to-duty, post-accident, and random testing).
- Safety-sensitive positions (e.g., Field Technicians, Supervisors, Managers) are subject to additional drug testing.
- Immunization against hepatitis B is recommended due to possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens or bodily fluids.
