Field Technician - Normal, IL

Responsibilities

• Provide support to customers during product deployment and post-sales phases
• Aid sales teams in providing on-site demos to potential customers
• Monitor and observe the operation of customer robot fleets to ensure optimal performance
• Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime to the customer
• Document operational data and generate reports to track performance
• Provide feedback to internal teams on customer needs, product performance, and potential areas for improvement

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree, technical certification, relevant experience or coursework in mechanical, electrical, or software fields is a plus
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, or software systems, gained through work experience or educational background
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically in fast-paced operational environments
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently and as part of a team
• Good driving record and reliable transportation to and from job locations
• Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site visits (approximately 20% regional travel)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods
