Field Technician (Mechanic) (Pump, Power & HVAC)

Primary Responsibilities
- Create, assign, and monitor work orders using the company’s tech.
- Track machine service intervals and order parts.
- Diagnose equipment issues using real-time data from various makes and models.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures both at the shop and on customer sites.
- Work individually or with other technicians to set up and operate equipment.
- Aid in the training of lower-level technicians.
- Maintain paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed.
- Assist with the pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
- Stay knowledgeable about OSHA requirements (preferred).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or trade school certificate preferred.
- Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair.
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
- Experience with power generators and commercial HVAC equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move freely.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles.
- EPA 608 certification is preferred (can be obtained within 6-12 months of employment).
