About the role

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking a Field Service Mechanic to join our team. We are dedicated to safety and the well-being of our employees.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing all types of construction equipment
• Electrical, hydraulic, and diesel engine repairs
• Diagnosing and repairing equipment beyond just preventative maintenance
• Mechanical experience of 5+ years
• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus
• Own the tools needed to perform the job
• Must have a DOT medical card

Requirements

• Dependent on experience, pay range is $36.90 - $47.50 per hour
• Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, morning shift, with overtime based on business needs
• Location is Fremont, CA 94539

Qualifications

• Experience in welding and fabrication is a plus
• Must own the tools needed to do the job
• A DOT medical card is required
