Key Responsibilities
- National Project Support: Travel up to 80% within the continental U.S. to perform startup and commissioning of new DDC systems.
- System Validation: Participate in point-to-point verification, database setup, and programming operations to ensure proper sequencing.
- Integration & Networking: Setup and troubleshoot MS/TP, Ethernet, and IP networks, including 3rd party integrations (BACnet, MODBUS, LON).
- Reporting: Use FieldWire for construction management to track mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and site deficiencies.
- Technical Support: Provide workstation configuration and end-user training for customers.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in HVAC/Mechanical systems and at least 3 years in DDC/Building Automation commissioning.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading electrical/mechanical drawings and troubleshooting AC/DC circuits. Must be highly computer literate.
- Travel Readiness: Willing and able to travel 80% of the time (primarily during the week).
- Certification: Niagara AX or N4 certification is highly preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.
