Field Technician

About the role

Nalco Water, an Ecolco company, is seeking a Field Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves monitoring and maintaining air and water quality systems at an automotive manufacturing site. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily process application quality analysis using small intricate parts
• Provide routine and special application service support to customers
• Execute required chemistry tests
• Log and report data
• Maintain product inventories
• Provide technical support to customers
• Troubleshoot and maintain systems as needed
• Use a fluke meter to check sensitivity
• Operate a test stand verifying air and fluid leaks

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Aged 18 or older
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be able to lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, balance, walk, stand, talk, and hear
• Must be able to wear a respirator under certain conditions
• Must be able to pass a drug screen

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills
• Proven ability to interface positively and professionally with customers
• Ability to analyze readings and put data in a spreadsheet in a logical manner
• Possess above-average verbal and written communication skills

Skills

• Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to operate a fluke meter and test stands
• Customer service and problem-solving skills

5pm-5am Sunday thru Wednesday
