About the role
Ecolab is seeking a Field Technician to join our team in Flat Rock, MI. This position involves monitoring and maintaining air and water quality systems at an automotive manufacturing site. The Field Technician will provide problem-solving support to customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot facility and process systems in accordance with established procedures
- Perform testing on lab samples, analyze and record results in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
- Provide routine and special application service support to customers
- Execute required chemistry tests and log and report data
- Maintain product inventories and provide technical support to customers
- Troubleshoot and maintain systems as needed
- Use a fluke meter to check sensitivity
- Operate a test stand verifying air and fluid leaks
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working independently in an industrial setting
- Previous experience in Industrial Wastewater Treatment or Maintenance
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Previous experience explaining results of data gatherings
- Physical requirements: lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 pounds, wearing and using a respirator, working in various conditions including confined spaces, damp/dusty areas, and extreme temperatures
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Experience working independently in an industrial setting
- Previous experience in Industrial Wastewater Treatment or Maintenance
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Previous experience explaining results of data gatherings

Pay
The starting annual compensation range for this position is $44,200-$66,200. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc.
Schedule
Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 6PM-6AM AND Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6PM-6AM (Rotating Weeks)
