Field Technician
Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide labor and operate small equipment on field service jobs.
- Maintain the operations of facility equipment.
- Stock, clean, and organize the shop.
- Support project managers and supervisors on assigned field tasks.
- Frequent and extensive travel to client sites around the country.
Skills/Experience
- Minimum Skills and Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Pass a background check for access to on-site federal locations.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Availability to work long shifts, including nights and weekends.
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certificate and/or completion of 8-hour refresher course (must obtain within 2 months of hire).
- Preferred Skills:
- Strong mechanical mindset and confidence troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Experience working at active Industrial & Aerospace facilities.
- Hands on experience with equipment and building commissioning & decommissioning.
- Lead & Asbestos remediation experience.
- Industrial coatings applications.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a full-time Field Technician to join our GR2 team in our Titusville, FL; Dallas, TX; or Houston, TX office. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment, ensuring organization, managing stock levels, and maintaining the cleanliness of the work area, while supporting Project Managers and Supervisors on assigned field tasks. You will also provide labor, mechanical, and electrical support to our clients and their facilities.
