About the role

TRC has an immediate opening for an experienced Field Team Leader with our Air Emission Testing Practice. The successful candidate will work with a talented staff to serve clients and support growth in the surrounding area. This position offers the opportunity to develop or expand a professional career with progressive compensation potential.

Responsibilities

  • Perform air emissions testing (stack testing) in compliance with Federal Regulations (40 CFR parts 51, 60, 63, and 75) and EPA quality assurance and guidance documents.
  • Lead field teams in the execution of testing projects.
  • Travel at least 75% of the time.
  • Safely traverse ladders, stairs, and other site conditions daily.
  • Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Pass a background check, drug screen, and physical.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in air emissions testing (stack testing).
  • QI certification in Groups I and III (Groups I, II, III preferred).
  • Familiarity with EPA Methods (thorough understanding of Methods 1-5, 6C, 7E, 10 preferred).
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe.
  • Unencumbered US driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • High attention to detail, especially as related to safety and quality.
  • BS in a related science or engineering field or equivalent work history (Bachelor’s degree preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with methods and scope specific to utility (Pt. 75) customers.
  • Experience performing CEMS RATA’s (40 CFR 60/75).
  • Current, valid US Passport.

Pay

Salary range: USD $79,000.00 – USD $100,000.00 per year.
