Field Supervisor - Roofing

About the role

The Field Supervisor will oversee up to 5 crews by monitoring crew leads to ensure all installation jobs are completed professionally and on time.

Responsibilities

• Assess what is needed to complete a job within the required timeframe.
• Review upcoming installations for potential issues.
• Analyze jobs to determine priority levels for support.
• Conduct job site safety inspections and quality assurance reviews.
• Identify electrical and construction/roofing issues for referral to the appropriate department.
• Review system layout, electrical design, equipment placement, and pipework to ensure aesthetic quality.

Requirements

• Demonstrated supervisory or management experience, preferably in the solar industry.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Familiarity with solar equipment, hardware, and electronics (preferred but not mandatory).
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass required background and drug tests.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
