About the role
Responsible for overseeing daily operations at a waste management facility, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervises a team of waste collectors and drivers
- Ensures all waste collection activities adhere to company policies and environmental standards
- Monitors equipment maintenance and schedules routine inspections
- Responds to emergencies and ensures immediate safety measures are taken
- Manages staff training and development programs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a similar field
- Valid driver’s license
- First aid and CPR certification
- Experience with waste management equipment and procedures
