Field Superintendent

Summary of Primary Functions

We manage and direct subcontractors and employees to complete projects according to plans or blueprints, ensuring safety, quality, timely completion, and staying within budget.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow safety and quality rules to maintain a safe work environment and produce high-quality products.
• Develop and maintain business plans for manufacturing operations, including labor hours, cycle times, production costs, and product specifications.
• Establish production and quality control standards, develop budgets, and control costs; gather data on product types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates.
• Coordinate erection and field service activities with other organizational functions and suppliers to optimize resource utilization.
• Review production and operating reports, resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues to minimize costs and prevent delays.
• Compile, store, and retrieve production data for reports.
• Determine responsibilities of assigned positions to achieve business objectives.
• Plan and schedule sub-contractors.
• Contribute to the research and development of new and emerging products.
• Train and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations among assigned employees.
• Achieve established costs, quality, and delivery commitments.
• Provide input to the development of the erection division's strategic plan.

Job Specifications Or Qualifications

• Certificates, Licenses, Registration: OSHA 10 Hr and OSHA 30 Hr Certifications; PCI Field Auditor.
• Education: College degree (4 year) preferred.
• Experience: 5 to 7 years of prior or related precast or concrete industry experience is required.
• Supervisory Experience: 3 to 5 (+) years is required.

Travel Required

This position is primarily a field position with minimal office time; the employee will travel daily to job sites and occasionally travel out of town for job sites.
