Field Superintendent

About the role

Lead Safely. Build Strong Crews. Deliver Great Work. Duke’s is seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to lead safe, productive, and high-quality field operations across multiple projects, crews, and field work locations. This position is based out of the Plymouth, MI regional office and is primarily field‑based, requiring regular travel between active project locations. Responsibilities

• Translate project plans into daily priorities.
• Develop field leaders and remove obstacles to production.
• Ensure every job meets safety, quality, customer, and operating standards.
• Work on construction sites, municipal infrastructure, traffic, operating equipment, confined‑space environments, and in variable weather, temperature extremes, humidity, and noise.
• Occasionally work evenings, weekends, overtime, and respond to emergencies.
• Regularly stand, walk, climb, communicate, inspect operations, and operate company vehicles, with occasional lifting and carrying of equipment, supplies, or materials.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Field Superintendent.
• Ability to work in the environments and conditions described above (construction sites, municipal infrastructure, traffic, operating equipment, confined‑space environments, variable weather, temperature extremes, humidity, noise).
• Willingness to travel regularly between project sites and to work occasional evenings, weekends, overtime, and emergency‑response shifts.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, communicate, inspect, operate vehicles, and lift/carry equipment as needed.
