Talent Acquisition & Sourcing
- Partner with regional and district leaders to identify and recruit qualified candidates for exclusive insurance and financial services agent opportunities.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies using Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, Appcast, Wall Street Jobs, referrals, and other recruiting platforms.
- Maintain a high level of recruiting activity, generating a minimum of 25 qualified candidate conversations per week and advancing 7–8 candidates weekly to Field Leader interviews.
- Conduct candidate outreach, screening, and qualification to assess alignment with Horace Mann's agent opportunity.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing and screening through offer acceptance and appointment.
- Meet annual hiring goals, including the appointment of a minimum of 40 agents per year.
Candidate & Hiring Process Management
- Partner closely with field leaders throughout the interview and selection process to ensure a positive candidate experience and timely hiring decisions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruiting process, maintaining consistent communication and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within Greenhouse and other recruiting systems.
Reporting & Collaboration
- Track and report recruiting activity, candidate pipeline metrics, interview conversions, and hiring results on a regular basis.
- Analyze recruiting data and sourcing effectiveness to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased hiring success.
- Collaborate with recruiting leadership, HR, and field management to support hiring goals and ensure compliance with company policies and recruiting practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5+ years of full-cycle 1099 recruiting experience, preferably within insurance, financial services, sales, or related industries.
- Demonstrated success sourcing passive and active candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms.
- Experience utilizing Greenhouse or similar Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions while meeting recruiting metrics and hiring goals.
- Strong communication, organizational, and candidate relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Range
Pay Range: $66,500 - $92,000 (anticipated starting salary of $74,000 commensurate with experience, qualifications, location, and business needs)
