Position Summary
The Field Service Tech is a hands-on problem solver who thrives in dynamic environments and values safety, teamwork, and customer satisfaction. EnerStar is looking for a Field Service Tech to join their results-driven team. In this role, you'll support clients with rig moves, new setups, rig releases, and infield repairs, making a direct impact every day. You'll work closely with the Field Supervisor, ensuring high-quality service and clear communication with clients.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
- Prioritize safety in all tasks and comply with company and client safety protocols
- Champion EnerStar Core Values in all professional activities
- Communicate with Lead Service Techs and Field Supervisor on a regular basis
- Communicate with clients to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain safe, efficient and quality service while on client locations
- Promote quality assurance to clients
- Participate in other relevant tasks as assigned
Travel
The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by EnerStar.
Job Demands / Environment
- Physical Requirements: Frequent lifting (must be able to lift 50 pounds), bending, climbing, walking, standing for extended periods, and working in confined spaces
- Candidates must have the physical ability to safely perform these tasks
- Medical Fitness: Due to the nature of the work and safety protocols, candidates must be medically fit to handle physically demanding tasks and work in varying environmental conditions. Pre-employment and periodic medical evaluations may be required
- Work Conditions: Outdoor work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, wind) and exposure to dust, noise, and other environmental factors is common
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Willingness and ability to properly wear and utilize all Personal Protective Equipment as required
- Active listener; responds in professional manner
- Able to work individually and as part of a team
- Able to work in extreme weather conditions
- Able and willing to travel out of town as needed
- Able to run electronic software, including but not limited to smart phones, computers, metering devices, etc
- General handyman skills desired but not required
- Strong Written and Verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Able to lift 50-75 lbs on a regular basis
- Strong customer service skills
- Self-Motivator, ability to motivate others
- Clean driving record
- Strong commitment to safety
- Able to effectively multi-task
