About the role

You will provide preventative maintenance, repair services, installations, upgrades, and in-servicing at customer accounts while actively growing the Arjo service contracts business.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, installations, upgrades, and in-servicing at customer sites using proper tools, test equipment, and replacement parts.
- Grow the Arjo service contracts business by closing new contracts or renewing existing ones, including researching opportunities and install base status within the assigned territory.
- Assist the sales team with joint calls, in-services, sales leads, demo setups, and trade show support to achieve revenue goals for company products and services.
- Comply with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements as mandated by company policy, customer needs, and regulatory agencies.
- Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with internal and external customers.
- Provide services in accordance with published warranty and maintenance contract policies.
- Assess, estimate costs for, and complete repairs on customer-owned medical equipment.
- Provide training and support for quality-related service activities, including quality control checks, product transportation, aesthetic maintenance, and product cleaning.
- Assist in regulatory investigations by providing product assessments and documentation as requested.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion and submission of reports.
- Participate in and complete all required training programs, meetings, and seminars.
- Adhere to and support all company policies and procedures.
- Engage in self-appraisal and continuous learning and development.
- Manage local and van spare parts inventory.
- Submit company expenses within established guidelines and timelines.
- Work flexible hours and weekends to meet business and customer needs.
- Maintain compliance with all quality requirements and medical device regulations (FDA and worldwide).
- Adopt and promote the "Beyond Compliance Quality Culture" in the work environment.
Requirements
- Must reside within the assigned territory and be able to operate an automobile (valid driver’s license required).
- Ability to travel as required to customer sites, including overnight travel; may use car or public transportation.
- Ability to work extended hours during peak business cycles.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
- Required to wear personal protective equipment (including biological/chemical protection) when potential hazards exist.
- Must be able to complete a series of inoculations when required.
- Major tasks require the use of hands, legs, and feet; ability to utilize computer, telephone, and related office equipment.
- Frequent standing, walking, and sitting; must be able to reach with hands and arms, speak, and hear.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Education and experience to understand and comply with U.S. and worldwide medical device regulations.
