Field Service Technician - Santa Maria, CA

About the role

NCR Voyix Corporation is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in Santa Maria, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment within an assigned territory to ensure customer operations are uninterrupted and customer satisfaction is high.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment within an assigned territory.
• Diagnose, repair, and replace components on various NCR Voyix equipment.
• Assist in site preparation and equipment installation.
• Resolve customer concerns or escalate issues as necessary.
• Perform preventative maintenance and keep accurate records of expenses and activities.
• Meet key performance indicators to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Clean driving license required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent years of related experience.
• Basic computer skills, including Windows OS navigation and Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience in PC hardware maintenance and support.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to pick up new skills quickly and work in a flexible schedule.
• High level of mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Associates degree or relevant certifications preferred.
• Previous experience in NCR or similar equipment is a plus.
