Field Service Technician – Industrial Bandsaws - Remote PA

About the role

The Field Service Technician in PA will solve end-user problems through troubleshooting minor repairs, alignment, and calibration of equipment, as well as product performance and trial tests to achieve optimum product performance. They will coordinate with Territory Account Managers to manage their territory, develop target opportunities, and handle service/maintenance requests for existing customers. They will utilize Salesforce to collect and maintain data about products, machines, materials, end users, and distribution for both Lenox and competitive accounts. They will stay updated on industry trends by attending trade shows and seminars and learning about innovative technology.

Responsibilities

• Solve end-user problems through troubleshooting minor repairs, alignment, and calibration of equipment, as well as product performance and trial tests to achieve optimum product performance.
• Cook up with Territory Account Manager(s) to manage your territory, develop target opportunities, and handle service/maintenance requests for existing customers.
• Utilize SFDC to collect and maintain data about products, machines, materials, end users, and distribution for both Lenox and competitive accounts.
• Stay updated on industry trends by attending trade shows and seminars and learning about innovative technology.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot distributor welding equipment.
• Motivate distributors and keep distributor sales personnel focused on technical services as a value-added service when selling.
• Identify end-user applications to provide cost-effective product recommendations that improve customer quality of process for sawing operations.
• Cook up technical product and application solutions that extend value to customers, consumers, and sales representatives.
• Learn, understand, and apply all aspects of The Lenox Advantage, Site Survey Process, and reporting tool.
• Convince customers of the value of LENOX products, running product trials against competitors and demonstrating the benefits of analyzing price vs. cost.

Requirements

You must have: 2-5 years of equipment maintenance and repair and/or hands-on experience in a shop production environment or equivalent. A Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a related field is preferred. Knowledge of hydraulic, electric, pneumatic, and mechanical systems is preferable. Technical and mechanical ability to work with tools and machines. Sales experience in industrial sales is preferred.

Pay

The total target cash compensation range for this position is $67,200.00 - $108,200.00. This is the lowest to highest total target cash compensation range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Total target cash compensation offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements.
