About the role
As a Field Service Technician, you will act as the first line of response for our customers, delivering solutions that build long-term relationships. You will organize, triage, and resolve customer issues—sometimes before they arise—using formal training provided by NCR Atleos. This role keeps global commerce running and serves as an ambassador for our brand.

Responsibilities
- Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
- Service electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory.
- Conduct maintenance, repairs, and system overhauls.
- Manage network faults, traffic, configuration, security, and remote system access.
Requirements
- Local candidate for the specific geographic area (New Orleans, LA).
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- At least 19 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record that satisfies NCR Atleos fleet requirements.
- PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with operating systems.
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willingness to travel extensively, including driving several hours per day, and work rotating/weekend shifts.
- Capability to lift and carry tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Physical ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, and work with hands, including repetitively grasping and manipulating objects of varying sizes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, or imaging software.
- A+ Certification, CompTIA, or N+ Certification.
- One or more years of related experience.
Pay
Salary range: $40,800.00 to $59,200.00, with higher compensation for well-qualified, experienced professionals.
