Field Service Technician II - Columbus, OH

About the role

NCR Atleos is seeking Field Service Technicians to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate should be tech-savvy with mechanical aptitude, able to transfer skills to various roles, and passionate about providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
• Service electromechanical equipment like ATMs and self-checkout systems within an assigned territory
• Manage everything from network faults and traffic, to configuration, security, and remote system access
• Manage tasks ranging from basic repairs to system overhauls
• Communicate in an open, helpful, and engaging manner with customers
• Organize and triage customer issues, addressing them before they escalate

Requirements

• Local candidate to specific geographic area
• Authorized to work in the US
• At least 19 years of age
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
• PC skills, basic electronic skills, and operating system familiarity
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day
• Rotating and weekend shifts
• Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
• Bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, working with your hands, and repetitively grasping and manipulating objects of varying size

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software; A+ Certification, CompTIA, N+ Certification; One or more years of related experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software; A+ Certification, CompTIA, N+ Certification; One or more years of related experience

Skills

Essential skills include technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills. Experience with electromechanical equipment and customer service are highly valued.

Benefits

• Salary range: $40,800.00 to $59,200.00
