Field Service Technician II - Boston, MA.
Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility
NCR Atleos, headquartered in Atlanta, is seeking Field Service Technicians to join its team. The Field Services Team creates value for customers by delivering solutions that build long-term relationships. As a first line response, technicians will communicate with customers, triage issues, and manage maintenance and repairs.
Skills
- Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
- Service electromechanical equipment like ATMs and self-checkout systems within an assigned territory
- Manage everything from network faults and traffic, to configuration, security, and remote system access
- Basic Qualifications: Local candidate to specific geographic area, authorized to work in the US, at least 19 years of age, valid driver's license, PC skills, basic electronic skills, and operating system familiarity
- Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day, rotating and weekend shifts, carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs., bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, working with your hands, and repetitively grasping and manipulating objects of varying size
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software
- A+ Certification, CompTIA, N+ Certification
- One or more years of related experience
