Position Summary
This Technician will cover the Cherokee, NC area and region. At Light & Wonder, we are committed to making the best games in the world and we are looking for smart, passionate, and creative people to join our team.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age, maintain a valid driver’s license, and be able to obtain and maintain gaming licenses as required
- One year experience in the assembly, testing, and repair of electronic gaming devices, or six months experience and related gaming school certificate of completion, or equivalent
- Perform basic troubleshooting techniques in isolating and correcting problems down to an assembly level
- Basic knowledge of electricity, electronics, and mechanics of gaming type devices
- Basic understanding of network communication, and network troubleshooting
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. on a regular basis for short distances
- Transport heavy equipment using proper moving devices
- Demonstrate safe and proper use of hand tools and power tools
- Basic knowledge of PC operation, and security risks relating to PC operation
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- Able to prepare conversion projects or installations with limited or no supervision
- Able to maintain good customer relations, both internally and externally
- Good problem-solving skills
