About the role

We’re actively seeking an individual to diagnose and resolve basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures. Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications. Maintain working knowledge and aptitude of multiple product groups, including troubleshooting and diagnostics. Meet and exceed customer demands through efficient, responsive, and accurate field/shop/on-site maintenance. Properly maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned. Provide direction to less experienced technicians and escalate technical and/or customer service-related problem areas.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures
  • Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications
  • Maintain working knowledge and aptitude of multiple product groups
  • Provide efficient, responsive, and accurate field/shop/on-site maintenance
  • Properly maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned
  • Provide direction to less experienced technicians and escalate technical and/or customer service-related problem areas

Requirements

  • HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required
  • 1 to 2 years of related experience
  • A basic understanding of internet environments
  • The ability to complete the 120-day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new-hire class
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time

Benefits

This role is eligible for a transportation allowance. The anticipated hourly salary range for this role is $21.50-31.74 hourly.
