Field Service Technician I
About the role
We are hiring an Ammonia Field Service Technician to join our Field Service team that travels through the U.S. Provide support to the Airgas field service team and plant operations. Work with customers and corporate staff to resolve problems and issues with various systems. Remove ammonia liquid and vapor from multiple sources which include refrigeration systems, storage tanks and pipelines. Install and maintain ammonia tanks, piping and pumps. Provide support to the Airgas Specialty Products sales team. Maintain proper parts inventory in service vans and warehouse. Document work via work orders and service agreements. Maintain a neat, clean and professional appearance. Maintain trucks, trailers and vans in neat, clean and safe condition. Maintain site specific training records.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- At least 25 years old
- Class A CDL with at least 2 years' CMV experience, tanker/hazmat endorsements required before the hire date
- Graduation from an accredited truck driving school with a diploma will count as 1 year of the required experience
- No preventable accidents of any kind in the last 3 years
- No more than 2 minor tickets in the previous 3 years
- No serious violation ticket (speeding 15+, reckless driving, etc.) in the previous 3 years
- No suspensions of CDL in the previous 3 years except for "Failure to pay child support."
- No DUI in the last 7 years
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs. or more
Qualifications

Pay
$35.16/hr. - Overtime after 40 hours/week (Double time for work performed on Sundays and Holidays) Safety Bonus Pay: earn up to $1500.00 annually Per Diem: earn up to $10,000.00 (200 nights/yr x $55) annually Hotel and Travel Accommodations Covered by Airgas Referral Bonus Pay: $1000 Paid weekly via direct deposit
