Job Summary
Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Affords assistance in servicing products and equipment.
- Identifies, analyzes, and performs routine repairs on instruments and products at customer locations.
- Performs routine preventive maintenance, site surveys, installations, and modifications.
- Determines parts needed for repairs and their timely order.
- Maintains inventory stock and equipment, documents service-related activities.
- Provides training, re-training, and follow-up at customer sites.
Education And Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Associate or Technical degree in Business, Sales, or related field preferred.
- 1 to 2 years’ experience working in a customer service role or related position preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Proficiency in all MS Office programs.
- Proficient in MS Office programs.
- Demonstrates analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
- High attention to detail.
- Possesses strong multitasking and organizational skills.
Work Environment And Essential Physical Functions
- Drive a vehicle for up to 95 percent of the hours worked.
- Maintain company vehicle (oil and fluid changes, tires, alignments, tune-ups, etc.).
- Frequent exposure to manufacturing facilities with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
- Lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to sit comfortably for prolonged periods of time.
