Responsibilities
- Travel to hospital sites to complete the installation, service, and maintenance of SteelcoBelimed products.
- Provide excellent service to customers.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using test instruments.
- Measure and adjust digital and analog instrumentation using calibration equipment.
- Install, modify, and repair SteelcoBelimed and/or third-party equipment.
- Manage customer base effectively, prioritizing customer needs and balancing preventive maintenance (PM) workload with daily repairs.
- Demonstrate correct usage and application of equipment to customers.
- Complete service reports, timesheets, expense reports, and parts lists in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain an organized work vehicle with necessary tools, manuals, and parts required to provide efficient repairs and installations.
- Monitor customer chemical orders, contract sales, and renewals.
- Promote and maintain good customer relations through high standards of professionalism, ethical behavior, maturity, and good judgment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience with industrial electrical single and 3-phase wiring and controls.
- Experience troubleshooting water and pneumatic process controls.
- Experience using diagnostic test equipment, volt-ohm meters, amp probes, and precision temperature and pressure calibration equipment.
- Ability to perform piping of copper, brass, and stainless steel piping.
- Ability to read and red-line P&ID and electrical schematics.
- Moderate technical aptitude; general computer skills with the ability to communicate effectively via e-mail.
- Able to lift at least fifty pounds unassisted.
- Able to climb over and crawl under equipment.
- Able to travel extensively with little notice prior to travel.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business need dictates.
- Able to maintain compliance of all credentialing requirements in order to access customer sites.

Schedule
This is a remote, home-based position traveling around the DFW area and covering within a 2-4 hour driving radius. Additional travel, including some overnights, during the first 90 days may be necessary for training purposes.
