About the role

Marine Travelift Florida is seeking a full-time field service technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide services to domestic Marine Travelift & Shuttlelift customers and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Erect new equipment at customer sites and provide customer training on equipment usage and proper maintenance.
  • Conduct field inspections on equipment previously purchased and provide feedback to the CustomerCare team.
  • Prepare and submit inspection reports and parts lists from inspections to the CustomerCare team.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks on machines currently in service at customer sites.
  • Complete all other duties and responsibilities that are assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience in maintaining industrial equipment with strong hydraulic and electrical aptitude (Parker IQAN a plus).
  • Effective troubleshooting skills using proper analysis, evaluation, and diagnosis techniques.
  • Experience in heavy lifting and rigging.
  • Ability to work at heights safely in excess of 50 feet.
  • Understanding of technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
  • Able to travel domestically & internationally at least 75% of the time.
  • A valid Drivers License with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in industrial equipment maintenance.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Proficiency in Parker IQAN (preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

$50-$60/hour based on experience.

Schedule

40-60 hours/week, with frequent travel required.
