Field Service Technician - ATL

About the role

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to support customers through equipment start ups, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and building trust with customers. You will work closely with customers and the service team to complete field service work safely, accurately, and on time while delivering a strong service experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
• Diagnose issues and complete repairs
• Handle start-ups and warranty work for new equipment
• Communicate repair needs clearly with customers and the service manager
• Leave each job site clean and organized
• Complete required service documentation on a laptop in a timely way
• Maintain accurate parts inventory
• Travel about 75% of the time, typically Tuesday through Thursday
• Work in a travel environment including time in the field, regular driving, use of a laptop for documentation, and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Self-motivated and dependable
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Ability to read and troubleshoot using mechanical drawings and wiring schematics
• Knowledge of A/C and D/C electrical systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Willingness to participate in training to build skills and product knowledge
