Field Service Technician

The Senior Field Service Technician will be responsible for initiating and executing field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role includes proactive system troubleshooting, working with mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment conditions, conducting preventative maintenance and parts inventory, and anticipating and correcting safety issues (both Company and Customer owned equipment). The role involves direct interfacing with customers and may require work across multiple systems, locations, or customers.

Requirements
- Some travel required (20%-80% depending on division & location, including overnight stays and time away from home).
- Must meet driving requirements, including:
- Driver Application for Employment.
- Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Driver Disclosure and Release.
- Employee Applicant Drug and Alcohol Statement.
- FMCSA Certificate of Awareness.
- Driver Certificate of Violations.
- Driver Statement of On-Duty Hours.
- Road Test.
- Copy of Driver’s License.
- Copy of Medical Certificate.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Capable of obtaining a CDL, Class A or B with applicable endorsements.
- Ability to obtain all required customer clearances (e.g., TWIC, DISA).
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical card.
- Clean driving record.
- Preferred: Industry-specific license(s).
- Preferred: 2 to 5 years of technical work experience, including industrial or commercial process water experience.
Skills
- Electrical, mechanical, diesel, or fusion experience (depending on business unit).
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Technically sound with critical thinking and troubleshooting ability.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including smart devices.
- Customer service experience.
- Ability to synthesize technical information and communicate it clearly.
- Derives insight from customer experience to produce outcomes and solve problems in novel and unexpected ways.
