Field Service Technician (Appliance Repair) - Seattle, WA (Everett, Marysville, North Seattle)

About the role

LG Electronics is seeking a Field Service Technician (DMST) for the Everett, WA (Seattle metro) area. This role involves delivering an exceptional customer experience while servicing LG products in customers' homes. You will diagnose and repair major appliances, TVs, and A/C units, manage inventory, and perform administrative tasks. As the face of LG, you will represent the company with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Travel offsite to customers' locations to perform maintenance and repair of LG's equipment to ensure top product performance
• Properly use all safety equipment (PPE), vehicle, and diagnostic tools provided by LG
• Conduct technical diagnosis and perform specialized repairs on a variety of electronics and home appliances
• Diagnose problems, assess the extent of the issue, document findings, and make decisions to repair the product and/or replace parts
• Immediately and accurately process paperwork and perform data entry upon completion of each job
• Pre-screen next day service calls by obtaining necessary information to help diagnose problems prior to arriving at customer's home
• Meet or exceed company metrics (customer satisfaction, fix right first time, revisits, parts management, OT %)

Qualifications and requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience in a technical role (Appliance repair preferred)
• Experience repairing major appliances (Refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, cleaning products)
• Experience in the use of tools and diagnostic test equipment
• Ability to properly troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product/system issues
• Valid Driver's license in good standing
• Ability to obtain appropriate EPA Certification
• Meet physical requirements generally associated with field service repair such as continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds

Pay

Recruiting range: $29.25—$33.75 USD
