Responsibilities
Our Road Mechanic/Technician role involves:
- Performing preventive maintenance
- Performing diagnostics
- Making repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime
- Working on a variety of makes, models & equipment in challenging remote locations
- Working with a fleet that varies by location but primarily includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools and equipment
- Specialty lines locations may have a fleet of large-scale power-generators, pumps, HVAC systems and oil/gas related equipment
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- Some trade school or equivalent training desired
- 3-5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred
- A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Qualifications
- May need to provide mechanic’s tools of trade
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
- Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
- Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs

Pay and Schedule
- Base Pay Range: $22.85 - 31.41
- Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience
- Eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date
- Paid time off: 12-25 vacation days depending on years of service, 5 sick days, 6 holidays, 2 half day holidays, 2 floating holidays, 1 inclusion day, 1 volunteer day
