Field Service Representative - (Bahrain – Sahkir Air Base)

This position is based OCONUS with living quarters in or around Manama, Bahrain.

About the role

As a Field Service Representative, you will support Bell’s AH-1Z Foreign Military Sale (FMS) to the Kingdom of Bahrain through the U.S. Government. Your role will involve providing Contractor Engineering Technical Services (CETS) and Contractor Field Services (CFS) to inform, instruct, and train Royal Bahraini Air Force (RBAF)/Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) personnel in the installation, operation, and maintenance of AH-1Z aircraft. Employment is contingent upon final U.S. Government approval, funding, and contract award. Start dates, duration, and continuation may adjust based on U.S. Government or host-nation requirements. This assignment is expected to continue for the contract’s period of performance, which may be modified or extended.

This position involves work in an overseas environment subject to regional security considerations. Bell follows U.S. Government, host-nation, and company security protocols, though conditions may require adjustments to work location or living arrangements. A U.S. Secret security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and advice to resolve complex technical problems related to AH-1Z aircraft.
• Support operation and maintenance of avionics, airframe, electrical, and drive-train systems.
• Train and instruct RBAF/BDF personnel in aircraft installation, operation, and maintenance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Bachelor’s Degree or Trade School Certification (preferred).
• 6+ years of extensive maintenance experience with Bell H-1 (AH-1Z, UH-1Y, AH-1W) military aircraft (required).
• Excellent knowledge of H-1 aircraft systems and military maintenance procedures (required).
• Must obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance (required).
• Experience with military aircraft operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with a strong preference in avionics and mechanical systems.
• Full systems Quality Assurance Representative experience (preferred).
• FAA A&P license, FCC General Radio Telephone License, or equivalent military experience (preferred).
• Recent active-duty USMC H-1 upgrade experience in Avionics, Mechanical, Hydraulics, Electrical Systems, Weapons, and Sensors at the organizational/squadron level (preferred).
• Proficiency with personal computers, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases (required).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (required).
• U.S. Citizenship (required for security clearance).

Schedule

• Full-time role.
