Field Service Professional (I-95 area)

Responsibilities
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently.
- Performs full range of on-site maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and customer call assistance on assigned products (KM MFP and printers & Non-KM printers HP, Lexmark, etc.).
- Performs equipment installation/de-installations, configure and troubleshoot networking issues (Printing and Scanning) on Windows/MAC OS, load print drivers, clone files, transfer address books, and performed firmware upgrades.
- Travel locally on a daily basis to various customer sites while managing territory work volume and maintaining a high level of customer communication and satisfaction.
- Occasionally travel outside of the local area for training.
- Communicate with management on customer or field issues.
- Successful completion of training classes and effective servicing of those products, with the ability to request assistance when necessary to meet customer demands.
- Show measurable progress in technical abilities, troubleshooting techniques and overall productivity.
- Use current technology and company issued assets (Laptops, Cell phone, etc.) to access websites and links for access to part books, service manuals, bulletins and other service literature and develop familiarity with contents.
- Maintain accurate ASL truck inventory for designated territory.
- Train customers on basic printing, scanning, copying functions.
- Accurately and timely complete weekly timesheet and expense reports.
- Provide sales support as required (i.e. advising sales on problems accounts, service leads).
Qualifications
- Must possess electrical/mechanical aptitude.
- Familiar with printing from common business applications and graphics programs.
- Microsoft OS peer to peer and MAC OS client side of server environments.
- Excellent time management skills and capable of prioritizing activities and scheduling to obtain effective results.
- Exhibit professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Teamwork; must work well with others.
- Understand territory parts budget and inventory control.
- Basic knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Assist to create equipment deployments guides.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, teach and train co-workers.
- Must have solid understanding of networking and the many types of graphic software being used in the marketplace.
- Must be capable of conveying technical data as it relates to 3rd party solutions or color printing applications in easy to understand terms for customers and sales personnel.
- Must have a working knowledge of Photoshop, Quark, Publisher.
- Minimum of High School diploma or GED required, Technical School training preferred.
- 4+ years experience related to technical/repair of business equipment.
- Certified on N+ or equivalent.
- Additional IT certifications or training are a plus.
- Pass background, security and drug test.
Benefits
This position requires use of personal car which is eligible for vehicle maintenance compensation program. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Pay
$1,500 sign-on bonus.
Schedule
Local travel on a daily basis.
