Field Service Professional - Garden City, KS

Around the Role

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, is seeking Field Service Technicians to join our nationally recognized team. This role combines technical expertise with sales opportunity, focusing on installing and servicing smart home technology.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluate customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Train homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders (up to 14 feet) and work in confined spaces like attics.
• Comfortable bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
• Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.
