About the role
Join Us – Field Service Engineer (Vacuum Technique Service)
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot Edwards products to the highest standards.
- Travel extensively across Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands (with regular overnight stays and some European travel) to provide timely, on-site support.
- Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted technical partner.
- Lead advanced fault-finding and ensure issues are resolved within agreed timeframes.
- Promote safety, compliance, and continuous improvement in all activities.
- Mentor team members and deliver training to customers.
- Accurately document service activities and use Edwards systems to manage workflows.

- Technical Expertise & Customer Focus:
- You combine strong technical skills with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service.
- Open to travel: Comfortable working autonomously and travelling regularly across the region, including overnight stays.
- Problem-Solver: Skilled at diagnosing and resolving complex issues while maintaining positive customer engagement.
- Quality-Driven: Committed to excellence, continuous improvement, and exceeding customer expectations.
- Mentor & Collaborator: Able to coach others and share technical knowledge effectively.
- Great Communicator: Clear, confident communication skills with proficiency in English (basic level required).
- Tech-Savvy: Computer literate and confident interpreting technical documentation.
- Qualified Professional: Degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Electronics discipline.
- Experienced: Minimum 2 years in a field service role, ideally customer-facing.
- Languages: English required; French and Dutch highly desirable.
