Field Service Engineer

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment
• Troubleshoots equipment problems
• Utilizes electromechanical skills to provide excellent service to customers
• Demonstrates ability to understand detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Comprehends test equipment including various test meters, hand and power tools
• Able to read engineering drawings and electrical diagrams
• Electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Maintenance Technician skills with solid experiences in resolving tool related challenges
• Previous semiconductor experience is preferred
• AS/BS or equivalent military

Requirements

• 60%-80% domestic or occasional international travel/and or occasional overnight travel to the factory, training facilities, and customer locations may be required
• Valid Driver's License required
• May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds

• AS/BS or equivalent military

$28-$32+/hr DOE
