Responsibilities

• Utilizes electromechanical skills to provide excellent service to customers.
• Performs on-site service, installation, and repair of semiconductor processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Participates in site safety programs to create a zero-hazard environment.
• Demonstrates ability to understand detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Understands and adheres to all site fab protocol requirements.
• Comprehends test equipment including various test meters, hand and power tools.
• Able to read engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.

Requirements

• Electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Maintenance Technician skills with solid experience in resolving tool-related challenges.
• A.S./B.S. or equivalent military.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills (MS Office Suite).
• English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• 60%-80% domestic or occasional international travel and/or occasional overnight travel to the factory, training facilities, and customer locations may be required. Subject to customer's business needs and requirements. Travel expenses paid.
• Valid Driver's License Required

Physical Effort/Activities

• May be required to walk up to 5+ miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Location: Malta, NY area. Travel: 60%-80% domestic or occasional international travel. Pay Rate: $28 - $32/hr + DOE. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, O-1, etc). Additionally, WGNSTAR does not participate in the STEM OPT extension program for this role.
