Field Service Engineer

About the role

This full-time position involves on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment. You will travel 80% of the time, domestically or occasionally internationally, to customer locations, training facilities, and factories.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems using electromechanical skills.
• Read and understand detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Use test equipment, including various test meters, hand, and power tools.
• Interpret engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.

Requirements

• Electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Maintenance Technician skills with solid experience resolving tool-related challenges.
• Previous semiconductor experience is preferred.
• AS/BS degree or equivalent military experience.
• 60%-80% domestic or occasional international travel, including overnight stays.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Physical Demands

• Walk up to 5+ miles per day and stand for 8-10 hours at a time.
• Ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces.
• Work at heights, on ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay

$28-$32+/hr, depending on experience.

Schedule

Day shift, but may vary subject to customers’ demands and requirements.
