About the role
This full-time position involves on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment. You will travel 80% of the time, domestically or occasionally internationally, to customer locations, training facilities, and factories.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems using electromechanical skills.
- Read and understand detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Use test equipment, including various test meters, hand, and power tools.
- Interpret engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.
Requirements
- Electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Maintenance Technician skills with solid experience resolving tool-related challenges.
- Previous semiconductor experience is preferred.
- AS/BS degree or equivalent military experience.
- 60%-80% domestic or occasional international travel, including overnight stays.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
Physical Demands
- Walk up to 5+ miles per day and stand for 8-10 hours at a time.
- Ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces.
- Work at heights, on ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Pay
$28-$32+/hr, depending on experience.
Schedule
Day shift, but may vary subject to customers’ demands and requirements.
