About the role
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to clients located in various regions. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support to clients
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance
- Document service requests and resolutions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure client satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a technical support role
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and common IT infrastructure components
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Skills
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience with network management tools and protocols
