Responsibilities
- Provide onsite user support for hardware, software, network access, and general IT issues across office and manufacturing areas.
- Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls across Hyve systems and applications.
- Perform minor server support, including basic troubleshooting, monitoring, patch coordination, and escalation to corporate IT when needed.
- Support local infrastructure such as workstations, printers, scanners, badge systems, and production-floor terminals.
- Document issues, resolutions, and system changes to maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement.
- Cook up with corporate IT teams to ensure alignment with security standards, policies, and system configurations.
- Aid with onboarding and offboarding tasks, including equipment setup, account provisioning, and access removal.
- Maintain a strong customer-service mindset and ensure timely resolution of support requests.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the facility’s operational and technical needs.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in IT support, field service, or a similar technical role.
- Experience supporting users in a manufacturing or mixed office/production environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, permissions management, and basic server administration.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues independently.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to lift equipment (up to :40 lbs), stand/walk on the production floor, and support a dynamic environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational habits.
- Ability to work onsite full-time and support occasional after-hours needs as business requires.
