Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond to gaining unit requirements pertaining to hardware and weapons/stores maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Screen inoperable components to verify or eliminate faults.
- Apply technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles in fault isolation, identifying malfunction cause, and restoring equipment/system operations.
- Provide technical support to Army maintainers and operators as needed to increase maintainer and operator competency.
- Analyze designs, develop, implement, test and/or evaluate major systems, components and associated support systems.
- Review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
- Support systems integration efforts, configuration management, quality assurance testing or acquisition and resource management.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in aeronautical, electronics, computer science, general engineering, or a closely related field.
- At least 5 years of project related experience, including 1 year of experience in the development, test, and evaluation of major systems.
- A valid U.S. passport through 2025 or longer.
- An Active Secret US Government Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Army Global Positioning Systems (GPS).
- Experience with the integration of Global Positioning Systems into other C5ISR Systems.
Compensation Details
$80 - $85K
