Your Role
- Supports customers with on-site installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of company and multi-vendor systems solutions.
- Installs and optimizes hardware and software for chromatography and atomic spectroscopy products and configurations at customer sites.
- Diagnostics and resolves product performance problems.
- Performs maintenance and repairs.
- Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance.
- Proactively responds to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business.
- Delivers fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems, and applications software.
- Trains other field engineers and customers in the solutions.
Requirements
- Must consent to participate and meet Agilent approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements necessary to gain access to customer sites.
- BS Degree in Sciences (Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc.).
- Strong logical troubleshooting skills.
- 4+ years' experience with chromatography equipment, i.e., GC, GCMS, LC, LCMSSpectroscopy instrumentation such as ICP-MS, ICP-OES, MP-AES, AA, FT-IR and UV-VIS is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability and prior experience in performing hands on maintenance, installations and selected repairs on analytical instruments is desirable.
- Environmental, geological and metallurgical analysis application knowledge highly desirable.
- Strong customer relationship skills are needed.
- Available for up to 40% travel that may include over-night stays in remote locations.
- Must comply with site access requirements that may include but not limited to medical information, drug testing or background checks.

- This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.

- The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $46.13 - $80.84/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits.
