Responsibilities

  • Provide world-class service to our customers by performing preventative and corrective maintenance for Epredia instrumentation.
  • Use expert troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues on a variety of electromechanical instruments.
  • Manage service call scheduling, parts inventory, and other administrative necessities.
  • Build trust-based relationships with our customers.
  • Interact with and provide feedback to internal stakeholders including technical support teams, Manufacturing, and Sales.
  • Prepare periodic reports to management including compilations of customer complaints, trend analyses, and suggestions for improvement.
  • Represent Epredia in a positive, professional manner in all dealings with customers, both external and internal.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years of field service experience supporting electronic, mechanical, or laboratory instrumentation preferred.
  • Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or other scientific or technical field preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% to customer sites, including overnight travel, based on business and customer needs.
  • Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic and mechanical instrumentation in laboratory, medical device, diagnostic, manufacturing, or related technical environments.
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical documentation, including schematics, assembly drawings, and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience supporting laboratory instrumentation, networked equipment, or Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Benefits

The hiring range for this position is: $70,000 - $82,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.

Schedule

No specific schedule is provided, but the role involves daily travel in the field as part of a national service team.
